This course provides an overview of the challenges that affect Cannabis sativa health, including pests, pathogens, and environmental stressors. Students will learn to diagnose common symptoms, identify pests such as aphids and spider mites, and recognize fungal, bacterial, and viral plant diseases. The course also explores nutrient deficiencies, excesses, and genetic abnormalities that can impact plant growth. Emphasis is placed on understanding Integrated Pest Management (IPM) as a sustainable solution to maintain plant health and optimize yield. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to address and mitigate the most common issues faced in cannabis cultivation.
