This course explores cultivation techniques to optimize Cannabis sativa growth, yield, and quality. Students will learn about environmental controls, including temperature, humidity, and CO₂ management in indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse settings. The curriculum covers soil science, soilless media, hydroponic and aeroponic systems, along with nutrient management and irrigation strategies, as well as sustainable cultivation practices. Additionally, students will learn optimal harvesting and post-harvest processing methods to preserve cannabinoid and terpene profiles. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills to enhance cannabis production through science-driven cultivation strategies.
